Didn’t hit his glove was throwing his up and back away from his glove and got hit. Wouldn’t have thought it was a knockout punch but it wasn’t a dive. IMO it’s more about mundine looked every bit a 43 year old in the ring and a tap like that prob knocks him out now. Was expected, lucky for Horn he fought a dirty fight against an ageing Manny Pacquiao and got away with it. Doubt it last undercard fight just ended. Jeff Horn hasn’t won himself any respect at all outside of Australia and no one expects him to have much of a chance and everyone in the US certainly wants Crawford to win including ESPN and Top Rank.
The Mundine that you see and hear leading up to a fight is very different to the normal Mundine. You certainly don’t like the guy do you. I have watched the replay a few times now and im not seeing what you are seeing. Surely someone can find a slomo of that left hook hitting glove and Mundine acting like he got shot. Horn would have pocketed a cool mil for the Bumdine dive, where in the US he woulda got $50k for getting a career ending beating against a hard nut. Almost an hour after the co-main event came to an end there has been no sign of either fighter emerging from their rooms. Mundine has a smart mouth, but I don’t think he was that match unfit and susceptible to a knockout, so easily and by punching gloves. I mean, he went 10 rounds last year with Green. You think after a whole career and a major fight last year, he all of a sudden can’t take a punch anymore? I don’t doubt that Mundine is past his prime.
